Apparently I lost my move. This company picked up my belongings on October 21 in a mini warehouse already packed in boxes except for 3 items (total 40 boxes). On the 27th I asked how it was going and they responded that everything was in order and once the volume was determined they would send me the invoice. On November 4th they indicated that the order had shipped on November 1st and that it would arrive in 2 to 3 weeks and that they urgently needed payment. I responded that it was a bit irregular to ship without giving final approval, especially with a budget increase of almost 40% due to supposed additional volume/packaging, they made a small price adjustment and in the end I agreed but with the condition that they had to send me photos of the packaging, give me information about the Canadian agent and draft BL. The response was that the photo was sending in the afternoon (it was never sent), that nothing from BL unless I paid and they gave me information about the agent in Canada. I contacted the Canadian agent (Viamar) and they responded that they had no idea about anything in transit. On the 10th I informed them about the Canadian agent answer and that I never received photos. They told me that the order had never shipped and that if they didn't like their way of working, they could give it to another agent if I paid them $1,425 in expenses!! I told them that after the lies and omissions to them I was not planning to pay them anything and I could process the payments through the agent in Canada. They responded that this was not admissible and that if I did not pay, the storage charge would also begin. Finally this Sunday the 12th they sent me a photo of some of my boxes (14 of 40) piled up in a warehouse, unpalletized and one of them crushed with the following disturbing text 'we do not engage in the practice of stealing from anyone, especially used items that they have no commercial value' and that if I want I could report them to the consumer protection institution of Panama. I have all the detailed email communications that demonstrate the above and in which my correct and respectful treatment can also be verifiedRead more
